Halloween is by far my favorite holiday (aside from my own birthday). I love the idea that for one night you can become anything from your wildest dreams of adventure - it gives a certain power to creativity and imagination (two things I live for!). With so many ideas and dreams for this particular party I sort of combined a mixture of ideas and themes. With lots of emphasis on the color purple, this Halloween bash turned into a masquerade for the non-scary!
Wishing you a wonderful night full of adventure, candy belly-aches, and lots of witch laughs!

One week from today is the spookiest holiday of all - Halloween! In celebration I created a Halloween Party Pack which included: invitations, straws, goodie bags, a thank you note, and DIY place cards!
The idea behind the party pack is to help busy adults make time for planning fun with friends, kids’ parties, social events and dinner parties. This pack provides people with a complete party kit including invitations, place cards and party decorations – which makes throwing even the smallest gatherings easy and stress free!
This particular pack was sent to a select group of bloggers to style in their own unique way. Here's a round of the parties they created!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated! You girls are so talented!
This invitation is meant to be reminiscent of a love letter, left with flowers for your love to come home to after a day away (no envelope necessary). Inspired by the actual Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge sign, I used kraft paper, burlap and twine to introduce the idea of a date night in nature.
An anniversary dinner is something to be celebrated with lots of hearts - ergo the romantic name tags. Although name tags are not necessarily essential at a dinner for two, I thought it would be super cute for this "couple" to have designated paper bags - in the case that the dinner host wanted to include a special surprise in the guest's dinner bag.
Lots of cuddles and reminiscing should be exchanged at this particular kind of dinner date. Using this custom cross word, the couple has a way to remember their firsts and favorites!
We all know there is nothing like having your own personal bartender ;-), luckily my bestie Nicole from Behind My Bar, was on location with me - mixing some serious magic! To learn more about this custom Rose Caipirinha (sure to make sparks fly) head over to her blog Behind My Bar.

Inspired by my love for purchasing fresh flowers at the super market - I saw a vision of a brown paper bag filled with the brightest of blooms. The color palette for this particular soiree was difficult to dream up as, we are right in the middle of a seasonal transition. I stuck to deeper shades of my favorite bolds, which are all represented in the paper flowers shown as a first impression on the invitation.
The scene was set on the Drake Hill Flower Bridge in Simsbury, Connecticut. Note back to the invitation for a second, party goers love to know what they can expect. With that in mind, I used the invitation to set the scene long before party day and guest arrival. The flowers on the party paper were a representation of the beauty to come. If you have never stepped foot on this flower bridge I highly suggest a trip to little old Simsbury! This place is absolutely magical.
Paper Bag Picnic
Per usual, I like to keep my parties as practical as possible! Low and behold this easily transportable paper bag meal, with menu and all. When packing the picnic my idea was to keep it classic with a simple food menu and a specialty drink with lots of flavor. Cue Nicole - my insanely talented bestie who is a mixology maven! She concocted a flawless Peach Tea cocktail for this occasion and will be chatting more about it over on her blog Behind My Bar!
This small celebration it set to be a double date style picnic, although there would only be 4 attendees I still see it fitting to use place cards. Labeling names is always an extra way to class-up the table, and as always helps the host to delegate seating.
I believe that the only thing any dinner party needs is good company and good conversation. Nevertheless, this tic-tac-toe set is provided in hopes to add a bit of excitement and laughter to the night and may be a great idea to try when dining with new friends!

The best part about this party is that there is another one to follow! This is my idea of a four top dinner - however, you might find yourself thinking, this place is so romantically (yes, it's so filled with romance it needed it's own word, heart) how might I go about preparing this sort of picnic for a date night?! Well stay tuned my loves - next week I will show you my version of The Perfect Picnic, anniversary date style!
Drink Decorations: Straw Flags
I have been really into the idea of drink tags lately. I wanted to create something that was different from a charm or name tagging the glass - so I used hashtag flags. Each hashtag is representative of the party theme yet different from all the rest - making it easy to differentiate between drinks.
Custom Cookies: Mail Boxes and Envelopes
These custom cookies were created by Steph at Steph's Creative Confections. The mini mailboxes and love sealed letters added so much to detail to this party! Not only were the cookies so super cute - they were the most delicious cookies I have ever tasted!
Place Cards: Chalkboard Paper
This is my ultimate favorite way of displaying an escort card - clearly because I can't seem to stop using this idea! Each clothes pin holds a chalkboard inspired name tag printed with white writing.

For the celebration of my business I wanted to fully represent the branding behind Until Next Time Notes -black white, clean lines and a little bit of jazz. Here is a look into the colors, patterns, and palette behind the creation of Until Next Time Notes' birthday styled shoot.

Location: Rooftop 120 - Glastonbury, CT
It is no surprise that my dream location for a summer themed styled shoot would be Rooftop120. Infamous for its outstanding rooftop bar and over the moon delicious cocktails, I knew there was no place I'd rather feature a party than at 120!
Inspired by Rooftop120's bold branding, the party color palette was influenced by the restaurant's logo. The party paper was handpicked to emphasize the yellows and greens of a cocktail's most important citrus. This specific party package included: invitations, drink stirrers, menus, drink decorations, an instagram sign, and place cards.
Party Package: Setting the Scene
The Menu: To Drink & To Dine
Crafted by Rooftop’s finest and packed with fresh flavors, each plate & drink featured on the menu was picked specifically to pair with the party theme. All so refreshing not only to eat or drink but, to look at as well - equal parts - beautiful, colorful, and detailed.
Drink Decoration: Personal Stirrers
Adding to the detail of the hand created cocktails - I incorporated some paper accents to each glass. A hashtag labeled drink stirrer and paper lime adorned the rim bringing the theme full circle. Individually labeled drink stirrers help guest to identify their own drink.
The Details: Photo Memories
Photographs are popular these days! An instagram or social media sign helps to inform guests how they should label their pictures. It makes for easy photo finding and sharing - leaving picture memories to last a lifetime.

Happy Spring! I am so excited to introduce The Spring Social - a party inspired by all things social - friends, & fun!
Featuring: Marissa from StyleCusp & Christina from OhSoGalm
Location: Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery, Wallingford, CT
This party was set at the most gorgeous & hospitable winery! The minute I stepped on location (weeks prior to the event) I knew it would be the perfect place to host #TheSpringSocial. A perfect backdrop for my vision of a rustic but, pastel inspired spring scene. The natural elements of wood, stone, and wicker paired perfectly with the bold & bright seasonal colors of hemlock, violet, comfrey, and magenta.
The Invitation: You're Invited
Influenced by my love of the translucent envelope, this invitation was made to be simple highlighting the illustrations by Cricket Lane Studio (more to come on this)! Through the clear envelope - the potential party guest can see a small sneak peak of the exciting event to come!
Centerpiece: Flowered Birdcages
These birdcages were set on pedestals to add necessary height dimension to the tablescape. Although, I wouldn't normally create a centerpiece with so much height, due to the fact that they would be unrealistic for socializing purposes conversely, conversation could easily be conducted via the airiness and visibility through wire the cage.
Place Cards: Instagram Feed Photo
Is there anything more social then an Instagram photo feed?! I think not! These place cards served two purposes. The first way in which they were used was to distinguish a seating guide. Their second function was to be use as photo frames!
Party Favor: Social Agenda & Planner Cards
Every party should end with a take home gift for guests - it could be big or small just as long as it is fitting to the party theme. Partygoers at The Spring Social were presented with a Social Agenda, a booklet and planner cards - complete with a personalized illustration by Chelsey at Cricket Lane Studio!
The Tablescape: A Spring Time Setting
While considering this party was more on the side of formal, I wanted attendees to keep in mind the fun and easygoingness of being social! Mixing formal place settings with pastel and modern patterns - I combined the clashing patterns of light chevron and bold paisley this helped lighten the mood and achieve this relaxed yet, dignified look.

February 14th is just around the corner. If you are anything like me - you start prepping for this holiday FAR in advance! A day to celebrate love & friendship is a day at it’s finest! I don’t necessarily believe that Valentine's Day has to be all about romance – it should be a time to celebrate your love for anyone! Growing up my sister and I always woke up to elaborate decorations & goodie bags filled with love notes, flowers, chocolate, and all of the V-Day accessories a girl could wish for!
As a 20 something creator my vision of this holiday is seen through rose-colored glasses of course!
Please note - information on invitation is false - do not contact this number!
Now if you are one of those people who don’t believe in Valentine’s Day - you may be thinking this post is not for you, just know – black (my favorite color) is absolutely included in my color scheme ;) – I dare you to borrow my rose colored glasses and take a look below!
You’ve Got Mail – Valentine’s Day 2014
A party theme based on my love of hearts and mail. Honestly, I am not the biggest fan of pink but, tis the season, right?!
This crazy thing is a 3D invite (YES, they are mail-able!) – a rectangle, kiss-covered box!
Guests would find a piece of mail with their name on it designating their seat at the table!
I created paper mailboxes for each of my party guests. This party is a dinner & DIY, throughout the night each partygoer could craft up a valentine and place it in a friend’s mailbox! More on the card making station below!
These little props were created for picture taking purposes! Everyone loves a good kissy picture – for each guest – a set of extra voluptuous lips! #MWAH
Until Next Time Note valentines were pinned to this easel. The easel was stocked with festive pencils. Each guest could choose a valentine to decorate.

VALENTINE MAKING STATION
For this event I used the place setting to unite the party’s theme… Each place setting includes the colors maroon, hot pink, black, white and gold. Hot pink and geometric patterns are BOLD - I used the bright base of the mailbox, the geo-patterns on the plates & place mats to marry hot pink with such a timeless colors of gold, maroon, black and white. This is my favorite setting to date.
A little shout-out to the MOST amazing store
I have been obsessed with this store for years. I first spotted it in Mizner Park - Boca Raton Florida.
Their online shop is amazing but, actually being in the store is an unreal experience. Heaven on earth for your eyes, inspiration at it's finest AKA I would live in this store if I could!
Of course this amazing vision couldn't be captured
without the AMAZING

Her pictures just as beautiful & inspiring as she is!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
Comment below & let me know what you think!
I'd love to hear what you are up to for V-DAY!
Since I was a little girl, my mother always loved being a hostess. She entertained as much as possible for every occasion possible. She hosted dessert parties, dinner parties, book clubs, huge holidays, multiple birthday parties for each age and so forth and so on. I think I gained my love for going the extra mile from her! Her attention to detail is impeccable. This post is inspired by my mother's brilliant way of always making things look pretty no matter how small the guest list or how casual the occasion.
A mix of all elements included in the table scape – map paper, whimsical winter writing, glitter paper and of course a hand-cut paper bow!
Even a small, 4 person luncheon can be themed & decorated!
My ideas & brainstorming generally stemmed from the winter season.
Here’s the story backdrop:
My favorite silver glitter paper with a white overlay.
PERSONAL PLACE SETTINGS
Handmade paper teacups & saucers add to the idea of a luncheon which doubles in the menu & theme as a tea party! Here I arranged bright colored flowers to make these tea cups the focal point of the table. I kept the center piece decor minimal to draw the eye to my favorite feature of the party! These individual flower arrangements can also be gifted to guests as party favors!
PS - My amazing rings are by The Glitter Vault
(currently obsessing over their midi rings!!)
Menus are such a fun way to display what will be served. Guests love to know what they will be dining. A super cute detail I like to add is one my favorite recipes so the ladies can take the menu home and try it themselves!
Winter white is always so beautiful! I wanted to play up that idea in all of my decorations. Aside from everything I made (explained above) I found everything I used to decorate at TJ Maxx & Hobby Lobby. For sophisticated decorating I always turn to my local TJ Maxx - Home Goods section AKA my favorite place on earth!
